Cockpit Checklist is being designed so personal procedure history is private by default and organization visibility is explicit, role-based, and tied to a legitimate purpose.
Product privacy principles
This preview describes the intended product direction. Final privacy terms will be published before the service collects account or operational data.
Personal history
Personal procedure and practice history should remain private unless the pilot deliberately shares a defined record with an instructor or organization.
Organization access
Organization visibility should be role-based, purpose-limited, transparent to the pilot, and governed by retention policy and applicable law. The product will not use pilot-speed leaderboards.
Audio and location
Raw cockpit audio and continuous location collection are not default product requirements. If a future capability needs either, the purpose, retention, processing, and user control must be explicit.
