Students, instructors, and recurrent training

Practice the procedure—not the tapping.

Learn, rehearse, recover, and debrief without mixing instructional help into the operational checklist or rewarding speed over disciplined method.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Fuel selector — BOTH

Confirm the actual position before takeoff. The response states what should be observed—not merely “checked.”

Source contextPOH §4 · Rev 12

Three visibly separate modes

Learn deeply. Practice realistically. Fly simply.

Training support expands the procedure outside the cockpit. Flight Mode remains terse, stable, and operational.

01LEARN

Build understanding

Review rationale, expected states, cockpit flow, terminology, source context, and common errors at your own pace.

02PRACTICE

Build disciplined recovery

Rehearse the real method with interruptions, deferred items, wrong-list traps, device failure, and backup transitions.

03FLIGHT

Execute without lesson clutter

Use the released operational procedure with focused prompts, visible state, deliberate responses, and no hidden adaptation.

Interruption is a trainable skill

Don’t wait for a busy cockpit to learn how to resume.

Practice can introduce realistic distractions and then evaluate whether the pilot preserved context, repeated the correct item, and resolved what remained—without turning the lesson into a speed contest.

For instructors

Assign the skill. Debrief the method.

  • Share a specific aircraft procedure and practice objective
  • Assign scenarios without rewriting the operational release
  • Review permissioned session events and recovery choices
  • Add instructor feedback outside the flight record
  • Keep training history distinct from operational history
  • Focus on procedure method—not streaks or tap speed

Training without shortcuts

Progress means better judgment, not fewer visible items.

No adaptive hiding

Proficiency never silently removes an item from an approved operational procedure.

No speed score

Practice can measure outcomes without incentivizing rushed verification.

No mode ambiguity

Learn, Practice, and Flight are visually and structurally distinct.

No checkbox theater

Debrief focuses on method, state, and recovery—not a perfect-looking completion percentage.

Build the training program with us

Bring the lesson plan. We’ll bring the procedure state.

We’re inviting students, independent CFIs, flight schools, and recurrent-training teams into the design-partner program.
